He is not just a performerHe is an Entertainer! His colorful background includes a wide variety of performance media. Growing up with his nine brothers & sisters, he played drums and sang R&B classics with brothers Herman (bass) and Joseph (guitar). As a student in his short stay at Montclair State College, he was known for his outstanding skill as a singing drummer. It wasn't until he moved to Boston and entered Berklee College of Music that his professors (Robert Rose & Larry Monroe) and friends discovered this uniquely gifted artist with his stirring vocal style and hidden talent to act. Encouraged to get out from behind the drums and come center stage, he did just that, took everyone by storm and never looked back. As lead vocalist for his own band "Lewis Robinson & Voices" with fellow musicians Steve Hunt, Baron Browne, and Bruce Bartlett he thrilled audiences during his Berklee years with soulful performances of well known jazz favorites and well received original tunes. Fans just couldn't get enough.
